People from all over the world partying in Koum Kapi, Chania, eating delicious food and enjoying the cultural heritage and traditional architecture of the old city. Hotel Filoxenia offers warm hospitality and free internet. Cons: Who needs help with luggage when you have a smoking, coffee-drinking proprietor?

I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Chania. The location was ideal, just a short walk to the old town and close to the beach. The owner, Nikos, was incredibly helpful with recommendations and even helped us arrange a car rental. The room was clean and modern, with comfortable beds and the fastest internet in town. Despite being in a lively district, our room was peaceful and noise-free. The hospitality was superb, with a warm welcome and delicious snacks upon arrival. The breakfast portions were generous and the freshly squeezed orange juice was a treat. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent location, cleanliness, and friendly service. With all these positive aspects, I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

The hotel's decoration had a charming vintage touch, with beautiful antique furniture that reminded me of past times. The general areas were well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere, making me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with wide corridors and handrails in the common areas, allowing me to move around easily and safely.
I would have liked to see more activities or amenities specifically catered to senior guests.
